AHS runs an open-concept shelter where cats can roam freely, choose their own comfortable spaces, and live as naturally as possible while they wait for their forever home.

AHS runs entirely on volunteer time and community generosity. Here's how you can make a direct difference.
Every dollar directly supports food, veterinary care, medication, enrichment, and the daily cost of keeping the shelter running.
Give Today βVolunteer two hours a week and change an entire day for a shelter cat. From cleaning shifts to grant writing β every skill matters.
Start Volunteering βOpen your home temporarily to a cat who needs a quiet place to decompress, recover, or bloom. The shelter provides supplies and support.
Become a Foster βCat food, litter, cleaning supplies, enrichment toys β purchase items directly from our shelter wishlist and ship them straight to us.

"The volunteers spent so much time helping us understand Theo's needs. He had some medical stuff but they prepared us for everything. He's thriving."
AHS has limited space and is not an open-admission shelter. We must confirm acceptance before any cat is brought to the facility.
Please do not leave a cat unattended outside the facility under any circumstances.
