About Arya
Arya is a loveable and spirited beautiful tuxie lass who is seeking out her purrever home. Arya was previously adopted from our shelter back in January of 2018 and ended up as a stray at the Mat-Su Shelter. Thankfully her chip was still linked to us, so we were able to pick her up and bring her back to our shelter. Arya previously had a heart murmur and we had that rechecked by the cardiologist. Arya has a functional murmur, no underlying heart disease seen at this time. The murmur should be monitored (it may be a bit louder or softer at times), but unless it gets much louder or the heartbeat becomes irregular, she should not need another echo. Arya also exhibited signs of arthritis so she began a regimen of Solensia which is a monthly injection administered by our vet. She is a very vocal sweetheart, singing the song of her people when she is seeking out affection. Arya loves to be around people and snuggle on laps, however she has a spicy side and gets overstimulated very quickly. Therefore we recommend a home without younger children and if possible experience with cats previously. Arya has also shared she does not enjoy the company of other feline friends, so she would prefer a home where she can be your one and only purrincess.
