Visit the Shelter & Meet the Cat
All household members will need to meet the cat before placement. Visitation is open Monday through Friday 7:00–9:00 PM. Weekend visits are available by text appointment.
Good to know: There are no same day adoptions.
Submit Your Application
Complete our online adoption application. Applications include household details, housing situation, veterinarian history, and cat-care experience. If you rent, written landlord permission or lease verification is required before final adoption approval (you may attach it with your application or provide it during review).
Good to know: If cats are in foster, visitation will be determined after application is approved.
Application Review & Counseling
Our adoption team reviews every application and verifies veterinary history for current or past pets, as well as landlord permissions if renting. Review typically takes 2–5 business days.
Good to know: Shy cat adoptions will require additional coordination with our Cat Care Team.
Schedule Your Adoption Pickup
Once your application is approved, we will contact you to schedule your pickup. Pickup is by scheduled appointment on Saturday and Sunday. The adoption fee is $130.
Good to know: Bring a secure, comfortable carrier for transport to your cat’s new home.
Adopting a Shy Cat? Read This First.
Shy cat needs are individualized and may take longer to fully decompress in a new environment. Our care team will provide support throughout this process to ensure the transition is successful. Please reach out to care team if any issues arise and we will do our best to problem solve.
Adoption Policies & Requirements
- No same-day adoptions — every application is reviewed by our team.
- All household members are expected to meet the cat before adoption is approved.
- Renters must provide written proof that cats are permitted on the property.
- All adopted cats must remain indoors. Exceptions include catios, secure strollers, and harness-training.
- Declawing is prohibited as a condition of adoption.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee placement. We reserve the right to decline any application.
- The adoption fee is $130 (no deposit required).
